Sonora Behavioral Health is Arizona's largest inpatient psychiatric hospital. We provide stabilization treatment of mental health and chemical dependency issues affecting children, adolescents, adults and active duty military personnel. We are fully accredited by the Joint Commission and committed to providing superior quality care.

Sonora Behavioral Health is looking for a Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The Maintenance Specialist is primarily responsible for performing a wide variety of preventive maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, electrical, drywall and painting, HVAC systems, vehicles, furnishings, appliances and equipment and grounds keeping. Must be able to visually inspect the facility and components to determine maintenance needs and corrective action required. Responsible for documenting tasks performed in department records appropriately. On-call for emergencies periodically for a week period at a time.

Qualifications

+ 1 year experience in a commercial environment, preferably in maintenance.

+ 1 year of experience in drywall repairs and/or installation, painting, plumbing repairs, minor electrical maintenance/repair, landscaping maintenance, HVAC maintenance and repairs and vehicle maintenance.

+ Ability to complete Handle with Care course is required

+ Clear TB screening

+ Clear background and drug screen.
