Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Process customer sales orders and invoices via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and correspondence regarding deliveries, terms, order changes, service, and related matters.
Manage the sales order process, including entry, pricing, and estimating.
Handle invoicing and ensure accurate and timely sales order entry.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to identify opportunities, secure quotes, and convert them into orders.
Provide exceptional customer service, including addressing concerns and collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including compounding, filling, purchasing, machine shop, and traffic management.
Take on additional responsibilities and assignments in other areas/departments as needed and as directed by management.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum of two years' experience in Sales, preferably in Manufacturing or Industrial Sales.
Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems and invoicing processes.
Strong knowledge of sales order entry and MRP systems.
SAP experience a strong plus
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships with a focus on service and satisfaction.
Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to achieving sales targets.
