Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer sales orders and invoices via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and correspondence regarding deliveries, terms, order changes, service, and related matters.
  • Manage the sales order process, including entry, pricing, and estimating.
  • Handle invoicing and ensure accurate and timely sales order entry.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to identify opportunities, secure quotes, and convert them into orders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including addressing concerns and collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including compounding, filling, purchasing, machine shop, and traffic management.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and assignments in other areas/departments as needed and as directed by management.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of two years' experience in Sales, preferably in Manufacturing or Industrial Sales.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems and invoicing processes.
  • Strong knowledge of sales order entry and MRP systems.
  • SAP experience a strong plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships with a focus on service and satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to achieving sales targets.
