Data Analyst | Make an Impact with Anglicotech!

We seek a Data Analyst who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment. You will be part of a team supporting the USINDOPACOM Commander in implementing the National Defense Strategy in the Indo-Pacific region by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large data sets and providing reports to inform decision-making by the organization.

Location:

• This position is located in Pearl Harbor, HI.

Salary:

• A salary range of $85,000 - $165,000 is available for this position commensurate with education, years of experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quantitative analysis, data mining, and data presentation to evaluate data, identify trends, and translate analysis into recommendations that can be shared and acted upon.
• Analyze and visualize structured and unstructured data from authoritative sources and present findings to support decision-making.
• Create reports and dashboards that distill large amounts of data into discrete and actionable information.
• Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators to monitor organizational objectives. Apply design principles, communication techniques, and dashboard design.
• Interpret technical findings and processes for stakeholders.
• Apply expertise in data visualization, visual design, and data communication to develop, refine, and deliver quantitative data products such as dashboards, charts, and diagrams, using tools such as Tableau, Python visualization packages (e.g., Matplolib, Seaborn), and Kibana.

Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or similar
• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with DoD
• 10+ years of Data Analytics
• MA/MS in Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science or similar
• Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
