Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with children and adolescents , focusing on assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their communication skills and overall quality of life. Your expertise in pediatrics and early intervention will be particularly valuable as you collaborate with families and educational institutions to support children's developmental needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions to clients in accordance with their treatment goals.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support clients progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, progress, and treatments.
- Educate clients and their families on strategies to support communication and swallowing goals at home.
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Requirements: - Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with a multidisciplinary setting offering ABA, Speech, and Occupational therapies
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Familiarity with therapy tools, technology, and EMR systems.
