Job Description
Responsible for applying mechanical engineering principles in the testing, certification and product development process from concept ideation, design, prototype, testing, and commissioning to final production. Participate in a cross-functional Team that owns the action plan to deliver products.
Responsibilities

• Full product line design responsibility
• New Product Introduction - delivers new product development initiatives
• Continuous Improvement - delivers sustaining engineering initiatives
• Self-sufficient in prioritizing tasks and capable of handling multiple projects.
• Product Design Analysis; validation, simulation, calculations, models/drawings, and other technical documentation
• Product design responsibility
• New Product Introduction - delivers new product development initiatives
• Continuous Improvement - delivers sustaining engineering initiatives
• Self-sufficient in prioritizing tasks
• Product Design Analysis; validation, simulation, calculations, models/drawings, and other technical documentation
• Applications Engineering - delivers Engineered Specials. Provides customer technical support through escalation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Civil-Structural Engineering; or equivalent
• 7+ years' of experience in product development
• Licensed professional engineer (PE); preferred
• Solidworks, AutoCAD; preferred
• Advanced Product Configuration Knowledge Preferred

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

• Normal office environment.
• Moderate travel <20%
• Laboratory testing environment.
• Production environment, when applicable.
• Some field exposure possible
