POINT OF SALES BUSINESS COORDINATOR
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As a member of the Levy team, your role as our Point-of-Sale Business Coordinator ensures that our solutions meet and exceed our colleagues' needs. You are central to our team, assuring that our operational systems are delivered effectively and efficiently to our colleagues. You participate in stadium athletic events and concerts, transitions, upgrades, and trouble-shooting to help optimize the solutions and ensure that our employees can use the POS technology effectively.
This position requires a trained professional with experience in the day-to-day operation of POS technology applications and equipment. We currently utilize VenueNext as our primary point-of-sale system. The role involves collaborating with business partners and technical teams to maintain a well-groomed product backlog of features and technical solutions.
Close collaboration with multiple teams is essential to ensure alignment with projects, implementations, and reconciliations. The role also demands the coordination of multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with critical interaction and communication with managers, leadership, and vendors.
The role will work directly with the Finance and Accounting team to ensure accuracy, integrity, and analysis of sales, tender and other financial data as well as processes and process improvements.
JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • As the Point-of-Sale Business Coordinator, this role involves supporting the POS software, hardware, and configuration. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, deployments, and monitoring upgrades of POS software.
  • Technical support for POS systems is provided in conjunction with the Levy Help Desk and VenueNext support team.
  • Ongoing administration of users, menus, pricing, and reporting for the POS system is essential to support the F&B Operations teams.
  • The role requires performing functional testing, analyzing, and interpreting test results.
  • This position is responsible for all software and hardware deployments, as well as configurations of ancillary systems. Collaboration with the F&B Operations and VenueNext teams is essential to develop and modify systems to meet current and future needs, with maintenance requests also being supported.
  • A strong relationship with the F&B Operations teams and vendors is cultivated and maintained.
  • Assistance with the development of training materials for the employees and vendors is provided, including slide decks, trainers' notes, written job aids or videos.
  • Support and collaboration with Finance and Accounting teams with updating reports, validation of sales and tender data, and processes.
  • Support of daily, weekly, monthly reporting for accuracy, integrity, and reconciliation.
  • Other POS technologies as needed for Suites, Amazon JWO, or future POS.
EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in F&B Technology Operations in either retail, restaurant, hotel, or sports/entertainment (0-3 Years)
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives
  • Understanding of core Point of Sale systems.
  • Understanding of financial and accounting processes a plus
EDUCATION
  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience with restaurant, hotel, or retail management company
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT
  • Must be able to lead multiple projects in varied stages of planning and execution
  • Ability to work closely with multiple business units, understanding the priorities of those business units
  • Must be a self-starter and comfortable working independently, working with others remotely and with different diverse cultures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Event driven schedule flexibility. Must support all major events on-site
  • Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains
  • Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shift
  • Ability to use hands in using office equipment, including the computer system
  • Ability to talk and hear to conduct phone correspondence
  • Close vision and focus capabilities to view computer screen and company documents
