Hybrid - 2 Days Work from Home Job Description The System Administrator will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of our cloud-based ERP system, EDI processes, internal network infrastructure, and the onboarding/offboarding of employees. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Cloud-Based ERP Management: Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the cloud-based ERP system to ensure maximum performance, reliability, and security.
- ERP Automation Scripting: Develop and implement scripts to automate repetitive tasks within the ERP system, improving efficiency and reducing manual workload.
- EDI Management: Manage the setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, ensuring seamless data exchange between the company and its partners.
- Internal Network Management: Maintain and support the company's internal network infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, and firewalls, ensuring optimal network performance and security.
- Employee Onboarding/Offboarding: Handle all IT-related aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access provisioning, and hardware configuration.
- System Security: Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard company data and IT systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to employees, resolving IT-related issues and minimizing downtime.
- Backup and Recovery: Manage and monitor regular backups of critical systems and data, as well as disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures, ensuring ease of access and knowledge sharing across teams.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT support role.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud-based ERP systems and EDI processes.
- Proficiency in network administration, including the setup and maintenance of security systems.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
