Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3+ years of experience as a bookkeeper (nonprofit work preferred)
- QuickBooks online expert, certification required
- Salesforce.com experience preferred
- Highly recommended: multiple references for bookkeeping expertise
- A self-starter who is passionate about the work and content in a fast-paced environment
- Organization/time-management skills; attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines
- High integrity needed to handle confidential information
- Proficiency/certifications in MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Excellent communication skills; a team player
- Solution mindset rooted in clear plans of action
Responsibilities
- Responsible for bookkeeping, including government grant expense reporting
- Administrative liaison for backend business relationships (HR PEO, Accountant, etc.)
- Reviewing Salesforce.com data to ensure alignment
- Monitoring and reconciling program fund requests
- Salesforce.com tracking and reporting on restricted funds
- Prepare, process, and file request for payment forms and other financial transactions
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled financial reports
- Process expense reports
