Job Title : Surgical Technologist

Job Location : Safford, AZ

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures, including Orthopedics, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Podiatry, GI, and Trauma surgeries.
• Ensure the operating room is sterile and prepared for each procedure.
• Provide surgeons with necessary instruments, sponges, and other supplies during surgeries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile field throughout surgeries.
• Anticipate the surgeon’s needs during procedures to assist effectively.
• Handle specimens appropriately and assist with patient positioning and preparation.
• Participate in trauma and OB call rotations.
• Stay until cases are completed when on-call or back-up call.

On-Call and Call Requirements:

• Surgery Call: 8-10 shifts per month, in addition to OB call.
• OB Call: 8-10 shifts per month, in addition to surgery call.
• Trauma Call: Available for critical trauma cases in the ER during surgery call.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Orthopedics, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Podiatry, GI, and Trauma surgeries.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform well under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and trauma cases.
