About the Company - Saint Joseph’s Medical Center is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Working under the direction of an occupational therapist as well as reporting to the Director of the School-Based Rehab Program. The COTA will provide intervention for children in the Yonkers Public Schools and/or in their homes, document sessions and progress, prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and maintain ongoing communication with parents, guardians, and teachers.
About the Role - Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills; written and verbal. Must have excellent organizational skills and be flexible. New York State Occupational Therapy Assistant License required. New graduates are welcome to apply. Pay range and compensation package - Salary: $46.80 to $83.40 per hour. Eligibility for Health Benefits depends on hours worked.
