Job Description:

Responsibilities :

• Facilitate comprehensive assessment and evaluation for assigned families (maximum caseload 5)
• Coordinate treatment objectives for assigned families
• Provide group treatment, parent support groups, parenting education classes as assigned.
• Initiate discharge planning for assigned clients and updated discharge plan weekly
• Provide family/conjoint therapy as specified in client’s treatment plans
• Provide case management services which may include interfacing with community psychiatric hospitals, Department of Family and Children Services (DCFS), Department of Mental Health (DMH), school officials, and law enforcement and others as appropriate.
• Facilitate ancillary services/community referrals when appropriate 
• Ensure progress notes for assigned case load are comprehensive and complete to meet licensing standards and meet all paperwork deadlines
• Participate in in-services trainings, individual/group supervision meetings, and any mandatory staff community meetings
• Assist Primary Therapist and Clinical Director with crisis intervention when necessary

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Licensed Mental Health Professional (Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker or Psychologist) OR Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, ACSW APCC with over 2000 registered hours
• Able to work onsite Mon-Friday 9-5 with one Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm rotation per month
• Experience conducting therapy with families/couples
• Experience working in residential treatment is preferred
• Experience working with an adolescent population is preferred
