Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, or Tuesday through Thursday
Description:
Provide weekly speech therapy services for a caseload of 10 or more clients. Follow documented treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP. Assist with documentation of patient therapy services as directed by supervising SLP. Assist with educating families on in-home exercises and carryover programs. The clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, and every other Saturday, with teletherapy as an option for some clients.
License/Certification:
- California SLPA License (Required)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a SLPA program or a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program. Or a related field.
- Successful completion of a minimum of one hundred (100) hours of supervised field work experience.
- Current California SLPA licensure by your hire date.
Must be able to:
- Work with children (birth-18 years of age) with various diagnoses, including but not limited to apraxia, expressive language disorder, articulation delay, receptive expressive language disorder, phonological disorder, and stuttering.
- Assist SLP with documentation of treatment plan in consultation with physicians and other health care providers in accordance with federal, state, and professional standards.
