Healthcare Management Specialist

Location : Onsite at Robert S Kerr Ave, Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a Healthcare Management Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to human resources management within the healthcare sector.

As a Healthcare Management Specialist, you will handle a variety of HR responsibilities, including recruitment, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. This position is onsite and offers the chance to make a significant impact while working closely with a dedicated team of professionals.

Please note : This position is onsite only and does not offer remote work options.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Administration : Interpret and apply HR rules, laws, and policies. Develop job descriptions, conduct job audits, and create organizational charts.
  • Compensation and Benefits : Conduct salary surveys, recommend adjustments, and administer employee benefits programs such as FMLA, workers’ compensation, and retirement plans.
  • Recruitment and Selection : Prepare job announcements, conduct recruitment activities, evaluate applicants, and provide job counseling.
  • Employee Relations : Counsel employees on grievance procedures and ensure compliance with personnel rules for promotions, transfers, and other actions.
  • Data Analysis : Analyze personnel selection procedures, prepare statistical reports, and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Team Collaboration : Work effectively with peers, providing training or guidance to junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education :
  • Bachelor’s degree or five years of technical HR management experience.
  • Master’s degree in HR, public administration, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Preferred Skills :
  • Experience with PeopleSoft .
  • Certifications such as PHR/SPHR .
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, business communication, and employee benefits administration.
  • Key Abilities :
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Analyze and interpret HR rules and policies.
  • Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
