What will your role be?
The SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Consultant will facilitate the implementation and ongoing support of SAP SD solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of complex business processes and the ability to provide appropriate system solutions. The consultant will engage with clients to gather requirements, map business processes, and design, customize, and test SAP SD configurations. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between the business and technical teams, providing troubleshooting, enhancements, and user support.
Activities:
- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP SD
- Resolve SD IT tickets
- Conduct detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and deliver appropriate system solutions.
- Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications
- Gather requirements, design, customize, configure, and test SAP SD solutions
- Identify gaps, issues, and devise workarounds
- Act as the primary liaison with clients for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and resolve software problems
- Handle changes or emergency transports for high-priority issues
- Document functional designs, test cases, and results
- Proactively identify and propose business process or system enhancements
- Provide consulting services for new implementations and existing support projects
- Serve as a bridge between business functions and the technical team.
- Deliver ad-hoc training and user support as needed
What skills and qualifications are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3 years of experience in full-cycle implementations and support projects
- 3 years of experience in SAP SD module
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously
- Experience in Professional Services or Distribution industries is a plus
- Solid understanding of accounting business processes
- Ability to comprehend business processes from a customer perspective
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively with others
- Results-oriented with a proactive attitude, demonstrating adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
