A law firm seeks a mid-level Corporate Attorney with 4-8 years of experience to join its team in Dallas, TX. This attorney will be responsible for preparing and negotiating a variety of corporate and transactional documents. The role includes working on entity formation, governance, mergers, acquisitions, compliance, and other business transactions. The attorney will have direct client interaction and will be expected to represent clients in various negotiations. Strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a team environment are essential for success in this role.Duties Draft, review, and negotiate corporate documents, including supply agreements, purchase agreements, operating documents, compliance documents, and merger and acquisition documents.Advise clients on entity formation, corporate governance, and operational matters.Lead negotiations for various business transactions, offering strategic guidance and practical solutions.Foster and maintain client relationships, contributing to business development and growth.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to manage complex corporate matters.Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations throughout all corporate transactions.Handle multiple matters simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and quality in all deliverables.Requirements 4-8 years of experience in corporate law, particularly with business transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.Experience in entity formation and corporate governance is highly preferred.Strong business development skills and the ability to build client relationships.Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and proactive attitude.Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and work effectively with clients and colleagues.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Solid academic background with a proven track record of success in prior legal roles.Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications Active membership in the State Bar (preferably in Texas).Skills Strong knowledge of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, and governance.Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis capabilities.Proven ability to manage client relationships and navigate complex business transactions.Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team environment.This position offers significant career growth opportunities within a dynamic and collaborative team.
