Daigo Sushi Roll Bar is looking for a Lead  Sushi Chef  who is interested in joining a company that values loyalty, dedication, hard work and a commitment to excellence.  We are looking for a talented Chef to join our team and grow with us.  The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a respectful demeanor
  • Ability to delegate, multi-task and solve problems
  • Attention to detail and work in a neat, organized fashion
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required including weekends and holidays
  • NYC Food Protection Course Certification (preferred)

Skills and Experience:

  • Preparing traditional Japanese sushi rice
  • Expertly breaking down, cutting and filleting various kinds of fish/seafood
  • Preparing orders according to company standards on quality and presentation
  • Maintaining a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination
