Duties that intrigue you include:

• Designing and coordinating new, upgraded or relocated overhead and underground electric utility lines
• Investigating voltage issues, capacity concerns, distributed energy and service upgrades for Tipmont members
• Managing your own schedule as you guide and coordinate with internal and external crews, teams, contractors, members and builders to accomplish goals
• Creating construction documents
• Obtaining permits, easements and construction agreements
• Overseeing project progress to ensure schedules and budgets are met
• Communicating with members, construction crews and the public throughout projects
• Determining pole attachment requirements
• Representing the utility in communities we serve
• Serving on a team to address after-hours outages

• Associate or technical degree in a related field
• Staking school or staking experience strongly preferred
• Proficient writing and verbal skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license
