A large chemical manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking a Chemicals Category Manager to join their site in Riceboro, GA. You will be joining a purchasing department that works with raw materials ($1B worth of purchases annually). You will be responsible for verifying inventory, managing purchase orders and requisitions, and communicating with suppliers/negotiating terms and options. You will also be responsible for overseeing the work of 2-3 people within the purchasing department. The established salary for this position is $100-110k, based on experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (in any field)

• 8-10 years of experience in purchasing

• 2-5 years with raw materials

• Experience with negotiations, contracts, and deliverables

• Experience in the manufacturing industry
