The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transactional Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex legal matters in a fast-paced, growing organization at the forefront of the sports and entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and vendor agreements to support the organization’s business operations.

• Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with outside counsel to manage high-level projects and ensure legal compliance across all aspects of the business.

• Protect the organization’s intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, and licensing agreements.

• Manage and negotiate SaaS agreements and other technology-related contracts to support the company’s digital initiatives.

• Develop and implement legal strategies that align with the organization’s goals and priorities.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience at a leading law firm or in-house legal department, with a focus on transactional work.

• Demonstrated expertise in commercial agreements, vendor agreements, intellectual property law, and SaaS agreements.

• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Passion for sports, entertainment, or the pickleball community is a plus.
