Job Description

One of our Pharmaceutical clients is seeking to hire a full-time permanent Director of Executive Compensation & Total Rewards to join their growing team in Richmond, VA .This Director will have overall responsibility for managing the Group’s share plans, will play a lead role in supporting the Legal & Governance Team in connection with required remuneration disclosures. They will assist the Compensation Committee on executive compensation matters. This role will also have growing responsibilities in the strategy and evolution of the Company’s compensation and benefits design.


The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for strategy, design, and execution of the Group’s share plans in the US and UK.
  • Lead administration and coordination of share plans, including benchmarking, drafting, and reviewing rules, and managing approvals.
  • Work with Group Finance on award registers, payment accounting charges, and funding of share plans.
  • Manage relationships with external providers and maintain participant information resources.
  • Ensure compliance with processes, reporting requirements, and legislative regulations.
  • Support payroll tax management and reporting.
  • Assist the Global Compensation & Benefits Director with executive remuneration and compensation packages.
  • Prepare papers and recommendations for the Compensation Committee and support AGM preparations.
  • Provide data for Stock Exchange Announcements and SEC disclosures.
  • Support Legal and Governance teams with insider reporting and statutory reporting.
  • Draft Directors’ Remuneration Report and triennial Directors’ Remuneration Policy.
  • Conduct compliance reviews and support reward, remuneration, or benefits inquiries.


Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience working in a large, complex multi-national organization or major consulting firm
  • Experience with compensation and equity with executive and operational levels
  • Knowledge of SEC filing requirements and experience preparing proxy statements and other SEC filings
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree


Salary Range: $200,000-$250,000 + 30% bonus + Equity

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday in office and remote Monday and Friday

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
