B2U Storage Solutions, Inc. (B2U) is the leading provider of integrated repurposing services for EV batteries in large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). B2U utilizes its patented EPS technology to deploy battery packs without incurring repurposing costs. B2U’s BESS are interconnected to the grid, selling energy and grid services into wholesale markets. B2U’s BESS have been operational since 2020. B2U’s second grid connected energy storage system has been operational since November 2023. A third facility is now being converted from PV to a hybrid BESS facility.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

B2U is seeking a Director of Operations to join the leadership team, reporting to the CEO, whose responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing operations staff and contractors who design, build, and deploy B2U’s BESS

• Build out the operations team, in conjunction with company leadership

• Working with company leadership to define strategic goals

• Managing B2U’s project deployments

• Lead team negotiating contracts with suppliers, engineering firms, contractors, and other third parties

• Lead team which handles purchasing

• Developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting safety and quality control/assurance procedures

Skills and Experience:

• Strong leadership, management and communication skills

• Project management, cost control, schedule development, and risk management skills

• Highly motivated, process-oriented self-starter who thrives in an innovative and entrepreneurial environment

• Ability to manage multiple priorities within schedule constraints

• At least seven (7) years of experience with EPC work in power systems development and engineering

• At least five (5) years of relevant experience leading people and projects

• Authorized to work in the US

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred

- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a senior leadership role

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams

- Demonstrated success in business development and strategic planning

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive results
