Position Overview: I am currently working with a highly reputable boutique law firm , who are actively looking for a Professional Liability Attorney to join their team in Chicago .

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations related to professional liability claims.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to prepare compelling defense strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery processes and participate in depositions.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice.
• Monitor case developments and keep clients informed about the progress of their cases.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois state bar and in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience in professional liability matters at a reputable law firm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
