Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (Hybrid: 3 days remote, 2 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic counsel to individuals, businesses, and government entities on complex real estate transactions.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review contracts for land acquisition, leasing, ground leasing, development, financing, and construction.
  • Guide clients through zoning matters, tax incentives, municipal incorporation, annexation, and subdivision issues.
  • Lead high-profile real estate projects, including mixed-use developments and tax-structured transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop innovative solutions for land use, financing, and development strategies.
  • Advise on ownership structures, with tax structuring experience as a plus (but not required).

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 6+ years of real estate law experience, with expertise in commercial and mixed-use developments.
  • Skills: Strong background in land acquisition, contract negotiation, leasing, development, and zoning laws.
  • Licensure: Licensed and in good standing to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Attributes: Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Interview Process

  • Step 1: Initial interview via Zoom or onsite with members of the real estate team (45 minutes–1 hour).
  • Step 2: Second interview with additional team members and partners, conducted onsite or via Zoom (approximately 2 hours).
  • Step 3: Final discussion and formal offer presentation.
