They are currently seeking a highly skilled General Civil Litigation Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to join their team who can handle a variety of civil litigation matters while collaborating closely with senior attorneys and partners. The ideal candidate will be able to receive and manage assignments from a partner and other senior attorneys, ensuring that cases are managed efficiently and client needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload involving general civil litigation, including but not limited to contract disputes, torts, business litigation, and real estate matters.
• Work directly with partners and senior attorneys to receive assignments and collaborate on case strategy, ensuring that work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery responses, settlement agreements, and other necessary pleadings.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client advice.
• Bill a minimum of 1,800 hours annually, maintaining a high standard of legal work while meeting productivity expectations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
• 4+ years of experience in general civil litigation, with a strong background in legal research, writing, and courtroom experience.
