Aligned Solutions has partnered with a rapidly growing company seeking a Senior Demand Planner to join their team. This role is 100% on site, no remote option is available.

The Senior Demand Planner will be pivotal in managing the forecasting operations, blending business intelligence with insights derived from sales data, new product launches, marketing strategies, and historical shipping data. As a crucial member of the planning team, you will be instrumental in enhancing forecast precision.

Key responsibilities encompass:

• Conducting thorough data analysis to unearth trends, patterns, and insights that bolster strategic decision-making.
• Employing Power BI to craft and present clear, visually appealing reports and dashboards that simplify complex datasets.
• Building and updating data models to support reporting and analytics, ensuring the integrity and uniformity of data.
• Utilizing SQL to perform data extraction, manipulation, and transformation from a variety of sources.
• Merging data from disparate sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and external APIs, into a cohesive data warehouse.
• Designing and maintaining accessible, interactive data visualizations and reports for stakeholders.
• Enhancing the efficiency of Power BI reports and data models.
• Working collaboratively with business departments to comprehend their needs and deliver meaningful insights via data analysis.
• Automating dashboards and reports to optimize data workflow and minimize manual tasks.
• Keeping detailed documentation of data methodologies, transformation processes, and reporting protocols.
• Taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent blend of education and experience in Demand/Supply Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain Management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (including VBA, Power Query, and dynamic dashboards).
• Skilled in SQL and familiar with Power BI, Tableau, and other BI tools.
• Willingness to travel as required by the job.
