One of Insight Global's largest pediatric healthcare clients is looking for a Grants Development Specialist to join their growing Research Administration team. This team is responsible for all Pre-Award processes, namely working directly alongside Principle Investigators (Faculty, Medical Directors, Doctors, Surgeons) to assist in the drafting and submittal process of healthcare grants. Day-to-day will entail working with PIs to draft and proof documents, create budgets, and assist the PIs in the grant submittal process. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the Pre-Award space and will come from an Academic Healthcare setting, where the majority of grant submissions were through federal organizations. This person will have high attention to detail, extremely polished written and verbal communication skills and will be a self-starter. Schedule is hybrid, 3x/week onsite on a typical Monday-Friday day shift schedule.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in the Grants space, specifically in Pre-Award
• Experience with the following pieces of the Pre-Award process:
• Drafting proposals
• Working with PIs on a day-to-day basis
• Creating budgets
• Collecting and proofing required documents
• Assisting PIs with submissions through each system
• Experience in federal grants and/or healthcare space
• Attentive, organized, stellar communication skills
