Logistics Manager - $350 Million Manufacturing Company - East Stroudsburg, PA


We are seeking a Logistics Manager responsible for managing logistics and fulfillment activities across 3 manufacturing and distribution locations in California, Arkansas, and Pennsylvania. You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless and efficient product flow, exceeding customer expectations, and driving continuous improvement within our supply chain.


Compensation : $100,000 - $120,000 base salary + Quarterly Bonuses. True Profit Share Bonus. Cost of living increases.


Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, PTO, 401k Match.


Travel : 15-20% across 3 sites, AR, CA, PA.


Overview:

  • Strategic Logistics Planning: Develop and implement robust logistics strategies and processes to guarantee timely and accurate order fulfillment across all locations, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly on-time delivery KPIs.
  • Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong customer relationships by proactively communicating delivery schedules, providing timely updates, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Effectively lead, mentor, and motivate high-performing logistics teams at each of our three facilities.
  • Vendor Management: Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with key freight and logistics providers, negotiating competitive rates while upholding the highest standards of service quality.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of all freight pickups and deliveries, ensuring alignment with production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Manage the efficient fulfillment of trim and accessory orders, ensuring timely delivery alongside main product shipments.
  • Continuously analyze logistics data and identify opportunities for process improvement, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize delays.
  • Production Coordination: Collaborate closely with production and sales teams to monitor and update production schedules based on order shipment status.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities with a strong focus on employee development.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor negotiation and relationship management.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
