The International Transportation Coordinator (port of entry, free carrier, and drayage) works closely with the International Transportation and Trade team to facilitate shipments throughout the network, focusing on POE and FCA shipments as well as monitoring all drayage operations for shipments in the US and Canada for our growing activewear business.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the progress of inbound shipments and ensure they are cleared through customs within specified timelines
- Gather and prepare necessary documentation for routing of goods and services on different portals
- Track shipments from origin to destination and provide updates to stakeholders
- Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure timely clearance of shipments
- Coordinate all shipment bookings between sales, production and logistics partners
- Manage transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
- Monitor and address any customs queries or issues
- Maintain the customer’s portal including entering necessary/required data
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in international logistics or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, and international trade is preferred
- Effective communication including writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication
- Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Annual salary starting at $65,000
