Job Description: Insurance Defense Associate

Are you an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney looking to join a dynamic legal team? We are seeking talented 2-5+ year associates with a background in insurance defense, medical malpractice, or slip and fall cases to join a thriving law firm serving clients across the San Francisco Bay Area .

This role offers the flexibility of remote work while requiring the ability to attend court appearances in the Bay Area as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including medical malpractice and slip and fall claims.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare motions.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar .
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance defense, preferably in medical malpractice or slip and fall cases.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to appear in court as needed in the SF Bay Area.
