Our Greater Boston area client is looking for a Graphic Designer with 2+ year's for an immediate long term contract; this role is onsite two days a week. Historically, this role has extended and is a long term opportunity; looking for experience with projects including multi-channel creative, including store experience, email, print, and social. Any experience with video is a plus and experience in home furnishings is also a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
-Work with our ACD, designer and writer to maintain and evolve the brand expression in multi-channel creative, including store experience, email, print, and social.
-Develop breakthrough content and design consistent with the brand mission and in accordance with the brand guidelines to drive engagement and acquisition.
-Execute specific creative requests received through briefings to meet the heightened demands of our program.
Creative Project Management
-Collaborate with ACD, designer, copywriter, brand, project management, production, and pre-media to effectively meet project objectives, schedules, and deadlines.
-Monitor pre-production, production and post-production for digital and print work, with direction from senior team.
-Effectively meet deadlines and manage a large scope of work while maintaining quality.
A Passion for Design & Creativity
-Have a strong foundation in typography, color theory, graphic design and illustration.
-Take the initiative to understand business needs and marketing requirements to devise compelling design solutions for integrated marketing.
-Ability to take direction, effectively present work, articulate design decisions to brand team, and respond positively to constructive feedback.
Required Skills
• 3 plus years of graphic design experience required.
• BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent degree
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, knowledge of Acrobat and Microsoft Suite, knowledge of photography a plus
• Typographic excellence, a commitment to accuracy & organization, and strong communication skills
• Experience from concept to execution in print, email, and social media
