Leading financial services company in Santa Ana is looking for a talented FP&A Manager to join the team! This position reports to the VP of Finance and will be responsible for strategic support to executive team including, but not limited to: JV Financial Reporting, KPI reporting and other special projects.

Location: This position is Hybrid - in-office Monday - Thursday, Remote on Fridays for any candidates residing within 30 miles of the corporate office in Santa Ana, California and Remote for all other candidates residing outside of that radius.

• Play an integral role in building financial models and tools for the purpose of budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and creating dashboards
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and analysis
• Translate financial analysis into clear data-driven storylines and insights
• Support functional leaders of the business with in-depth department specific analysis and trends, including budgeting and resource needs.
• Continuously identify areas of opportunity in your role to unlock efficiencies and improve processes
• Assists in the calculation of incentive compensation programs
• Responsible for Retail and Wholesale commission processing and the administration the incentives in compensation system
• Assists with special projects, reporting or analysis as required by senior management
• Provides analysis and recommendations for cost savings and operational improvement
• Analyze profitability and develop recommendations
• Develop and monitor operational and financial KPI’s – highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
• Analyze the company's financial results - profits, trends, and costs. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management.
• Ability to nurture cross-functional collaboration with other business units and functions
• Manage and develop a high-performing team of analysts

Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree - accounting, finance, or other business degree required.
• 6+ years of financial analysis and modeling experience and a big plus if have experience in the Mortgage Banking sector
• Advanced in excel and excel modeing
