Application Operations Specialist

W2 Contract

Salary Range: $62,400 - $83,200 per year

Location: Redwood City, CA - Hybrid or Remote PST

Job Summary:

As an Application Operation Specialist, you will manage and coordinate administrative and operational functions for the Information Sciences department. You will assist in proactive software licensing management, including inventory, contracts, budgeting, and renewals. You will deliver regular status updates to the Information Sciences team, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external account managers.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in a science or technology discipline, and 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Project management experience with tools such as Smartsheet and Asana.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other standard software tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to anticipate, prioritize, and respond to changing workload situations.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and undergo training to meet business needs
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines to maintain business continuity.
• Contract management experience is preferred, including overseeing and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Experience working in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or related industries is highly desired.
