Acquisitions Analyst

Location : Oakland, CA (San Francisco Bay Area)

Company : Fully integrated principal investment firm focused exclusively on U.S. light industrial real estate

Position Overview :

This high-profile role will support the Acquisitions team by conducting detailed economic analyses for industrial acquisitions, joint ventures, and development opportunities across various target markets. The Analyst will have the opportunity to contribute to investment decisions, collaborate with industry stakeholders, and present findings to senior leadership and investment partners.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct financial and qualitative analyses of acquisition and development opportunities using Argus and Excel.
• Research market trends, track acquisition opportunities, and provide insightful market analyses.
• Lead due diligence activities, including lease analysis and arranging third-party reports.
• Prepare investment committee materials and present findings to decision-makers.
• Develop and maintain property valuations, discounted cash flow models, and hold/sell analyses.
• Build relationships with brokers, owners, and developers to source potential deals.

Requirements :

• 2-4 years of transaction-related experience, with advanced financial modeling skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Argus, CoStar, and Yardi preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation skills, with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of real estate financial statements, leases, and market dynamics is a plus.
