Our client, a well-known denim brand is looking for a Merchandise Coordinator to join their Men's Bottoms team for a 12 month contract! This role will work a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure data-entry integrity and maintenance of seasonal product integrity in product management systems
- Be responsible for sample management and organization for assigned global product categories
- Contribute to some aspects of Product Development activities
- Act as a conduit of information, materials, and samples to regions and cross-functional teams
- Create and maintain line plans and communicate plans with key cross-functional business partners
- Assist Merchants with preparation for product performance reviews and sell-out reports
- Assist with targeted consumer and competitor research via market shopping and fashion publications
- Conduct administrative work for the merchandising team as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in in Apparel Merchandising or a related field
- 1-2-years of experience in apparel merchandising recommended
- Strong knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Experience with product management software i.e. PLM
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills across teams and levels
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Passion for product and the consumer
- Proven ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
