Duration: 6 months contract

Job Description:

This position is responsible for executing, managing, and tracking category strategies to minimize Indirect cost structures while ensuring delivery against the company’s strategic needs. As a leader on the Indirect Center of Excellence Team, this role often contributes to setting or developing company-wide strategies for activities in these category functions. Success in this position will help the company improve its long-term competitive strength by minimizing Indirect cost structures.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for reducing costs of acquired goods and services that are Not-For-Resale.

· Leads sourcing, vendor negotiations, and vendor relationship and performance management.

· Serves as the category expert for assigned areas, providing expertise in supplier management.

· Manages and balances needs between quality, cost, service, and innovation.

· Executes contract process at the end of sourcing event

· Support and/or execute sourcing events as dictated by the indirect sourcing calendar. Execute contracts as needed.

Experience:

· 3-5 years’ experience

Skills:

· Proficient in Excel; including pivot tables and manipulating and analyzing large amounts of data.

Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
