We are currently assisting our client with a Director of Human Resources search in the Cleveland, OH area. Reporting to the VP of HR, this is a highly visible position where a successful candidate will possess the ability to lead through influence and play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with HR and Operations Leadership Team to implement strategic initiatives resulting in continuous improvement, enhanced employee engagement, improved working relationships, and positive business results
• Identify high-performing, high potential individuals to help build plant bench strength and succession planning
• Develop and implement strategies for sourcing, attracting and retaining a talented and skilled workforce
• Lead and execute programs through local leadership and the Human Resources Managers that builds and sustains a culture of high employee engagement and sense of belonging
• Research and identify strategic opportunities that positions compensation programs and practices as a competitive advantage
• Partner with senior operational management on the development and implementation of employee communications plans and programs across the operation

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Business related degree, Master's preferred
• Ideally 10+ years of experience in strategic and operational HR roles
• 3+ years of management experience
• Travel as needed

Total Compensation:

• Commensurate with experience
