Responsibilities

The Nurse Manager Endoscopy provides leadership in daily clinical operations of the Endoscopy Unit, in accordance with established State rules and regulations, and AAAHC standards for ambulatory surgical facilities. Develops and enforces compliance with ASC policies and procedures. This position works closely with the providers, ASC Director, Clinical-Quality Manager, Nurse Manager OR/ Pre-Op/PACU, ASC Business Office Manager, ASC Educators, Staff, and Medical Staff Leadership.

Salary Range: $103,683 - $128,060 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required: BSN or 5 years of management experience

Preferred: MSN preferred

Experience

Required: 5 years clinical experience in Endoscopy.

Minimum 2 years management experience

Preferred: Ambulatory Surgery Center or Endoscopy Center experience

License(s)

Required: BCLS, ACLS through American Heart Association within one year of hire date,

Texas RN

Preferred: Specialty Certification

Special Skills

Required: Computer skills; working knowledge with Word, Power Point

Preferred: Working knowledge with MSM

Other

Required: Previous AAAHC preparation experience

Preferred: SGNA/CGRN certification
