MW Talent is partnering with a prestigious personal injury law firm in Decatur, GA, to find an experienced Managing Attorney to lead their litigation efforts and oversee legal operations. This is an in-person position with the flexibility to transition to a hybrid schedule (1-2 days remote) as mutual trust and alignment are established.

Position Overview:
The Managing Attorney will play a dual role, focusing primarily on litigation (65%) while also providing leadership and mentorship to attorneys and staff (35%). This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled litigator with demonstrated leadership capabilities to contribute to the growth and success of a respected firm. The role includes a competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives .
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically lead the firm’s litigation efforts, handling complex cases from inception to resolution, including trial representation.
- Oversee case strategies, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to attorneys and legal staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to refine processes, improve efficiencies, and enhance client service.
- Serve as a community ambassador for the firm, reflecting its values and commitment to giving back.
- Manage multiple high-stakes cases simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and objectives are consistently met.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree with an active license to practice law in Georgia.
- 10+ years of litigation experience , including significant trial experience.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience within a legal setting.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
- A demonstrated commitment to community involvement and public service.
- Proven ability to balance litigation and leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
