Job Description

Russell Tobin is looking to engage with senior level candidates with relevant expertise in the Legal Recruitment Sector. This role will be instrumental in the build out of our Lateral Attorney Recruiting Practice and work in parallel with our In-House Legal Recruiting Team. The role will sit in Charleston, SC. We are open to relocation for the right candidate.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leveraging our 10-year track record in the Legal Sector, this role will help to architect and scale a new Lateral Attorney Recruiting Practice.
  • You must be able to lead by example and demonstrate ability to manage the full life cycle of Lateral Recruiting including but not limited to originating clients, originating candidates, facilitating placements and creating qualitative processes.
  • Hire, train, and develop new talent for this team. You will be given autonomy to identify your own strategic hires. Essentially, you are the GM for your own team.
  • Work with Russell Tobin Leadership to develop and implement best practices for recruiting and business development in this sector.
  • Manage employee performance and development relating to financial performance and cultural growth.
  • Set team targets, drive towards goals and maintain accountability for revenue, gross profit and net profit growth for the office.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree. JD is a plus.
  • 5+ years working in the Legal Recruiting Sector. Preferably, focusing on Lateral Associate or Partner Placement.
  • Leadership/management experience.
  • Strong moral compass.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish personal credibility and build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Ability to operate in a deadline driven environment and adapt to changes in procedures, policies and practices
  • Ability to work well in an open team environment and with local and remote colleagues


This position is a salaried role and offers monthly and quarterly incentives.
