A skilled and highly organized LOCAL hospitality professional with strong opening experience is needed to launch and oversee on-going operations for an exclusive, highly unique, new micro-boutique luxury property. This is an intensely focused role involving a very small footprint. The ideal candidate is a strong, charismatic and detail-oriented leader who will report directly to ownership and be responsible for all pre-launch activities and hands on in the day-to-day business operations. This includes financials, sales/revenue generation, expense management, HR, legal compliance and ensuring guest service of the highest quality.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute pre-opening priorities, critical path and timeline.
- Develop and implement policies, protocols and practices for all operating departments.
- Foster effective relationships and serve as the point-person for issues, needs and requests, for both customers and employees.
- Hire, train, develop an exceptional staff, capable of consistently exceeding expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management or related discipline is preferred.
- Residence in the Phoenix area is required.
- 5-10 years of operations leadership experience in a luxury/ultra-luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Significant experience in driving new business openings/launches.
- Past budget development and management experience, with revenues of $1M.
- Highly polished and professional appearance, consistent with expectations in luxury hospitality.
- High EQ and advanced interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with comfort and confidence in communicating with UHNW individuals.
