Responsibilities:

• Receives and sorts specimens for testing in a clinical lab environment.
• Works closely with customer care to obtain missing information in a timely manner and distributes new information to all involved departments.
• Accessions all cases received for testing, including da ta entry of pertinent information into the laboratory information system.
• Sends specimens to appropriate reference labs by coordinating shipment process, maintaining client communications, and generating necessary logs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent/GED
• Experience: 1+ years of experience equivalent to an Accessioning Technician preferred
• Able to communicate effectively with strong organization skills
• Able to work in a biohazard environment while complying with safety policies

Pay: $22/hour
