Job Title: Cost Analyst (Logistics)

Location: Greenville, South Carolina

Length of W2 contract: 12-18 months

Position Overview:

The Logistics Cost Analyst will play a crucial role in auditing all cost-plus freight charges on projects to ensure the company effectively recovers payments from their customers. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Logistics Project Manager to identify and audit all freight costs associated with a project.
• Engage with project team members worldwide to pinpoint freight charges.
• Coordinate with the company's logistics carriers and internal team to gather necessary freight charge information.
• Urge logistics carriers to submit invoices promptly.
• Navigate through multiple company systems and databases to track freight invoices.
• Directly interface with customers when necessary.
• Contribute to the development of internal auditing standards and processes for routine work.
• Work alongside logistics carriers to enhance the quality of invoicing.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the immediate leader/manager, whether verbally or in writing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in freight payment and/or financial auditing.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to swiftly adapt to and learn company-specific applications.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement capabilities.
• Team player who can also work autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Aptitude for multitasking and process management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in project-based logistics.
