Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

Summary
Our Fortune 500 Medical Device client is seeking a highly technical and experienced Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Administration Fees, Rebates, and Chargebacks team. The role focuses on documenting, debugging, and optimizing the current Business Intelligence and Data Solutions leveraged by the team.
This position is perfect for someone with deep expertise in financial modeling, data engineering, and process improvement, as well as advanced technical skills in Alteryx, SQL, and Tableau. You will report directly to the hiring manager and collaborate with the team to identify risks, test solutions, and provide actionable recommendations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Perform a deep dive into the current system and process to audit, debug, and identify risks and inefficiencies.
- Review and validate data pipelines, algorithms, and automation projects built in Alteryx, SQL, and Tableau.
- Develop and deliver technical solutions to improve system performance and ensure compliance with global audit requirements.
- Conduct testing and validation of financial models and reporting structures to identify red flags and ensure accuracy.
- Document and present findings to stakeholders, providing clear recommendations for system improvements.
- Design user-friendly systems that improve process workflows and enhance stakeholder engagement.
- Develop predictive models and forecast solutions to improve financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven expertise in SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau for data processing, visualization, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with system testing, validation, and debugging.
- Ability to audit and improve existing data systems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Familiarity with SAP and cloud-based platforms, with experience navigating data integrations during transitions.
- Strong communication skills to present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels.
