Litigation Associate- Insurance Defense

One of our clients in Dallas has a thriving litigation practice nationwide; they are seeking an attorney to join their talented litigation team. The ideal candidate for this position has 3-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience. The firm offers the resources of a large national firm yet the culture of a boutique firm. This role provides lower annual billable hours which is well suited for anyone seeking work/life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Settle and mediate insurance defense litigation cases.
• File motions and litigate cases in court.
• Ability to handle files from inception to trial.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced litigators with ability to work autonomously.
• Commitment to producing high-quality results; with strong attention to detail and research.
• Adept at negotiation and settlement skills.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of general insurance defense litigation experience.
• Excellent academic record.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing and legal research skills, and a strong work ethic.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited program.
• Must be licensed in the State of Texas and in good standing.

Compensation: $125K plus commensurate with experience.
