The NIH Contract Clinical Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the execution of a multiyear government contract, ensuring full compliance with NIH standards and regulations. The Director will lead a team providing clinical research management, oversight, and operational support services for over 50 clinical trials and observational studies. This team will also offer adjunct expertise and resources to ensure proper study documentation, clinical site monitoring, data and safety monitoring, data management support, statistical support, regulatory compliance, and IT systems. These services will support clinical researchers in their operational activities and assist the NIH in overseeing and administering its clinical research programs.
Primary duties include leading project teams, monitoring contract performance, managing budgets, timelines, and deliverables, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. The Clinical Program Director will also identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications :
• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in life sciences, public health, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management, program management, or clinical research, with at least 3 years of experience working with NIH contracts.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven track record in managing complex government contracts, including budget oversight and team leadership.
