Job Title: Family Case Manager - Long Term Housing
Type: Contract to Hire (Permanent position after 3 weeks of remote training)
Location: Northwest Philadelphia, Germantown (Zip Code: 19144)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Start Date: ASAP (Next training session begins February 18th)

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide continued supportive housing counseling and advocacy to former shelter residents to help them maintain safe, independent living and integrate successfully into the community.
- Manage a caseload of clients, offering individual case management, advocacy, needs assessment, action planning, and evaluation.
- Accompany residents to appointments as needed to secure and maintain safe housing.
- Offer ongoing individual support and informal counseling through home visits and phone calls, making outside referrals when appropriate.
- Assist former shelter residents in applying for relocation fund assistance.
- Develop informational materials and network with community resources on housing, financial literacy, domestic violence, tenant rights, and other relevant topics.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social services or a related field with 2 years of direct service and/or advocacy experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse population; experience in an urban setting preferred.
- Experience with domestic violence issues and proficiency in Spanish are strongly preferred.
- Prior case management experience and skills in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, group facilitation, and counseling are highly desirable.
- Must pass criminal (state & FBI) and child abuse clearances (expenses covered by the company).
- Completion of Domestic Violence Advocate Training required.
Additional Information:
- Local travel required with mileage reimbursed at 70 cents per mile.
- One remote workday per week, with four days onsite.
- Parking available onsite and on the street.
