Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead the procurement of materials, equipment, and services critical to our operations. This role is a vital part of our mission, ensuring that our projects are supplied with the best resources, on time and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement, and oversee purchasing strategies that align with organizational goals and values.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
  • Manage and optimize the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment for projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and engineers, to identify material needs and specifications.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality standards, delivery schedules, and contractual terms.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier contracts, and cost analyses.
  • Analyze market trends and forecasts to identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to support long-term partnerships.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and contracts effectively.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, inventory management, and market analysis.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy products and components is a plus.
