Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Press Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of press operations and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves setting up and operating various types of presses to produce high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press machines according to specifications and production schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions of finished products.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
• Document production data and report any discrepancies or issues to management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus.
• Experience with milling machines and welding techniques is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise measurements using micrometers and calipers.
• Basic programming skills for machine operation are desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a factory setting, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and teamwork capabilities.
• Commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
