Job Description

Entry-level, onsite, 3–6-month temporary opportunity as a Credentialing Assistant for a trusted, nonprofit healthcare provider, serving the San Diego area. As a Credentialing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Lead Credentialing Specialist in performing administrative tasks related to new provider credentialing and re-credentialing. Data entry, looking up information and identifying areas for updates, filing and organization of paperwork related to current employees and their files.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of administrative/office assistant experience preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency with web-based applications and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Healthcare or working with a Federally Qualified Health Center preferred.


Responsibilities:

  • Administrative tasks related to new provider credentialing and re-credentialing.
  • Data entry - looking up information and identifying areas for updates, filing and organization of paperwork related to current employees and their files.
  • Work as a team to ensure that every staff member is legally licensed and/or credentialed and up to date with the latest medical policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain licensing, credentials and insurance records.
  • Conduct research on updated state and federal regulations and policies.
  • Any other administrative tasks assigned.

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

Pay Scale of Starting Pay for role: $20-$25/hr.
