Trinity Rail is hiring for Maintenance and Repair Supervisor at our Jonesboro plant.

The Maintenance and Repair Supervisor position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the team at Trinity, you will lead the team in the use of blueprints, schematics, small/power tools and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and determine causes of operating problems in areas including but not limited to plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVASC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee day to day operations of the group in production environment
- Authority for personnel action (hire, suspend, promote and discipline employees)
- Trains and ensures safety of team members
- Monitors schedule to accomplish maintenance goals
- Exercises independent judgement
- Directs and coordinates fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance and repair of mechanical or electromechanical machinery, equipment, tools, engines and systems.
- Ensure that quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process
- Oversees installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water and steam systems
- Evaluates mechanical products to determine their cost effectiveness and efficiency
- May evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions
- Input data in KRONOS, EAMS, MS OFFICE, and EXCEL and development skills in additional computer programs
What you will need:
- Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role

- Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- High school diploma: BS/BA in management or relevant discipline will be considered an advantage
- Minimum 5+ years Maintenance experience in a Manufacturing/Industrial setting
